ON ANOTHER NOTE; I LOVE how they sneak parallels in the show. I cannot wait until Korra FINALLY meets Aang in the Avatar State. <3 I will cry buckets at that moment. BUCKETS. I live on the 8th floor and I will probably DROWN all the floors beneath me in my tears.

I just recently finished episode 5. I’m sorry, I’m in the Philippines, and I have no access to a cable TV in the dorms, so I won’t exactly get it every Saturday. TwT BUT ANYWAY. I watched it, and my little shipping heart broke. I love Bolin, in every sense of the word. He just makes Korra feel so … special. I don’t even. -dies-

So I had to draw this as way of venting.

“I was never angry with you.”

Aang: “You did the right thing. Forgiveness is the first step you have to take to begin healing.”
Katara: “But I didn’t forgive him. I’ll never forgive him. [looks at Zuko] But I am ready to forgive you.”

Zuko: “More sorry than I’ve been about anything.”
Katara: “Then he’ll forgive you. He will.”

Katara drew back with a little start, shocked to see a thin trail of bright, transparent liquid stream down Zuko’s face. He lifted his hand, as though to touch her cheek, but he hesitated. He trembled. Her heart nearly broke at the sight of him looking so fragile and scared.

“Zuko?” Her voice was soft. Questioning. “Zuko, what’s wrong? Why are you crying?”

The scarred prince swallowed, as though frightened to talk. His hand was still held up, still trembling with a quiet fear.

“Beautiful,” he finally managed to choke out, and another thin trail of tears streamed down his cheeks. “You’re beautiful.”
